amazed by the Japanese Drum Performance
by the Yamato team from Japan at 1 Utama
7 of them who successfully performed for
this Yamato - Japanese Drum Concert






in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur Festival
2010 organized by the Ministry of Information,
Communication, and Culture, Ministry of Tourism
and Ministry of Federal Territory, The Japan
Foundation, Kuala Lumpur presented "Yamato"
Japanese Drum Concert on 12 - 13 July, co-organized
by the Embassy of Japan and One Utama Shopping Centre



Little Futher Information about "Yamato"

Japanese Taiko drummers "Yamato" was born in the country of Yamato, the present Nara Prefecture in 1993 by Masa Ogawa, and has its headquarters in Asuka Village in Nara, which is known for many ancient monuments and named as its birthplace of Japanese culture. In the village of Asuka with more than a thousand years of history, Yamato seeks new expression with Wadaiko – Japanese drums as its backbone. What they do everyday is to prepare, perform or travelling. They continuously touring around the world with drums in their hand as their motto is to meet people and make the world a little more happy


The place where Yamato performs is the space where people gather in the resounding beat of drums. When sound created by Yamato resonates with the pulse of everybody present, the moment of “meeting” exists and it will give Yamato the energy for tomorrow, running through the world to continue drumming and seeking encounters. Audiences surrounded by the sound of Wadaiko, is what Japanese call "Tamashii", which can be translated as soul, spirit, psyche and so on, which is the basic element of life. Yamato attempts to create a stage production which is the celebration of life

the most funniest part was it has
been so many years that i always
dine into this branch of Pizza Hut
but i never knew that there was
wifi services provided by the branch



in the end i had the opportunity
to be on twitter and also captured
some "valuable" pictures as shown below
