TEDxKL 2013 Explores "Life Hacking"

TED is a non-profit event that started out in 1984 as
a conference devoted to ideas worth spreading and
bringing together people form the worlds of design,
entertainment and technology. It then slowly found
the way to Malaysia, creating a program called TEDx

TEDx is well known as a programme of local, self-
organised events that bring people together to share
a TED-like experience. The event called TEDxKL
(also known as TEDxKualaLumpur) will see TED talks,
videos and live speakers combining to spark deep
discussion and connection to the audiences

Running into its 5th year, TEDxKL returns with the
theme "Life Hacking" which held in Halls 2 and 3 of
the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre on 3 August 2013
from 1pm to 7:30pm (with dinner served), and till
today 1,300 tickets were already completely sold out

Life hacking refers to hacking into one's life with
an inspirational talk that would change one's lifestyle
or inspire a difference in life. Any productivity trick,
skills, shortcut, or novelty method increases
productivity and efficiency, in all walks of our life

Along with the theme this year, anticipating the most
intriguing line-up of speakers which they went through
auditions by sharing their stories on stage with the public
held at Cyberhub and Menara Star. Speakers are selected
based on aspects such as power of idea, originality, how
it relates to Life Hacker, credibility and delivery of speech

Invited host of the day will be Kavin Jay (a stand-up
comedian & co-host of The Really Really Late Breakfast
Show on RedFM), for full line-up of speakers, check here:
