i have come to this restaurant several times,
but with different companion and somehow it
was a random decision of having dinner with
David and Michelle. Most importantly - nyonya
cuisines at The Tranquerah, Red Carpet Avenue
i've once did the review on the restaurant's
atmosphere and few dishes way back in 2012
which considered to be my first time dining
well, it was a memorable post as a random
birthday dinner was celebrate right here
well, somehow in this post i will just blog
about it with dishes pictures and some might
be repeated once again, but no harm right
since everyone love eating...
The Tranquerah has changed their menu compared to
the previous one ("old school" with the yellowish-
became famous and turned into a newspaper
Michelle decided to give it a try for this
beverage - Long Batik (a mixture of syrup,
watermelon juice and milk). Give it a try!
Sambal Jerung - Fresh steamed brinjal with
a top layered of Tranquerah's famous sambal
Udang Masak Lemak Nenas - The prawns were
cooked with coconut milk and pineapple
juice extraction. Sweet and Sour feel
Again and again, this dish must be ordered!
CINCALUK OMELETTE - made by fermented shrimps
known as "gerago" or "geragau" caused saltiness
sauted with big onions and chilli before breaking
the eggs to give a stir by adding the cincalok
and cook it over low to medium heat in a pan
the salt is ommited as the shrimps were the ones
causing the saltiness and calamansi juice is
squeezed before serving this dish on the table
Here comes the taste of The Tranquerah's Desserts
SAGO DELIGHTS - the sago delight is made into
alike jelly form accompanied with sweet gula
malacca and creamy milk. Yummy!
Ais Kacang or Some people call it ABC
Tranquerah's ais kacang is filled with
thick taste of condensed milk and gula
melaka and with the usual ingredients
that we can find in the ais kacang -
cincau, cendol, atachi, sago...
It is my second time writing about The Tranquerah
so if you're one of the craver for Nyonya Cuisine,
you will definitely must make a trip to taste out!
