2nd Malaysia Path Community's Gathering

14th JULY 2012, SATURDAY

AFTER long awaited, the big event happened today

with TRIPLE number of increase of attendees to

the "2nd Malaysia Path Community's Gathering"

REMEMBER my previous post about the first gathering

which only consist of four members sitting inside

FatSpoon Café? Then, gradually increased to 7/8 of

us who had a small catch up at Starbucks Café,

and today the number of attendees has tripled up

a total of 28 attendees who shown their faces at

Rakuzen Japanese Restaurant, TCM for the 2nd

Malaysia Path Community's Gathering!

STARTED my day collecting the specially made

Path logo's icing birthday cake baked to surprise 

all the July, August and September birthday babies. 

Caught up in a massive jam for an hour while 

on my way heading to gathering's venue - 

Rakuzen @ Tropicana City Mall

NANTHA was one of the earliest attendees who

arrived at Rakuzen, and after few minutes more

and more people turning up but the interesting

part is when all attendees who walked into the

gathering venue they will start the following

conversation:

"Hi, I'm XXX on Path."

"XXX, you are friends of anyone here?"

"Ooohhh... So you're friend of XXX....."

CAN you imagine how the flow of conversation

started among the attendees themselves to

introduce, getting to know each other for the

first time through this second gathering

SOMEHOW, I'm really glad to see the happenings

as the purpose of the gathering has achieved and

more and more Malaysia's Path community members

gather up as one society to support - PATH

WHILE waiting for everyone to be on the spot

and other than meeting new people, most of

us checked-in to the location, snapped photos

and some even started to add new friends. the

most amazing part of these actions were all

done by using just one application - PATH

From this point onwards of the post, I will allow

the pictures below to do most of the talking:

the gathering wasn't only for Path members

but it is also a family outing, which made

some Path member brought along their family

members to join the gathering. Awesome!

TIME past fast and when we officially started

the welcome speech, it was already almost 1pm

the start of cake cutting session for July,

August and September proceeded right after the

welcome speech by the organisers - David and I

Here it is - The Birthday Cake with

would like to specially emphasize this specially

baked cupcakes tower for a Malaysia's Path

enthusiasm - Vincent (which unfortunately he

could not attend the gathering this time)

This cupcake tower was specially baked for him

during his birthday by Shing's Cakery

Look at the crowds who were amazed by

the specially baked birthday cake with

Path Logo's icing decorated on the cake

inviting all the shy birthday babies to

proceed with the cake cutting session

Finally, the cake needed to be "slaughtered"

Introducing the July, August and September birthday

babies, which were also Path users - WaiKit, WeiQi,

Jonathan, Elaine & Diane (from left)

GREAT food, great people, great communication

and not forgetting the birthday celebration

for a few of the Path members that made the

gathering successfully ended in 2 hours time

I really appreciated everyone's contribution

and attendance for making the 2nd Malaysia

Path Community's Gathering happened! All of

you should give yourself a big round applause

myself. It is about the attendees, about the Path

users who made it and supported the gathering...
