have you had an childhood ambition
have you had an childhood dream
to contribute towards the society
in your future life when you're
grown up that filled with life
experience and knowledge gained?
i personally had the ambition to
be a columnist to write and share
everything i could to help, to
contribute and make people happy
somehow there is this verse that
we should learn from the bible :
"I undertood great projects:
I built houses for myself and
planted vineyards.
I made gardens and parks and planted
all kinds of fruit trees in them
I made reservoirs to water groves of
flourishing trees
I bought male and female slaves and
had other slaves who were born in than
anyone in Jerusalem before me
I amassed silver and gold for myself,
and the treasure of kings and provinces
I acquired men and women singers, and
a harem as well - the delights of the
heart of man
I became greater by far than anyone in
Jerusalem before me. In all this my widom
stayed with me
I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my work,
and this was the reward for all my labor.
Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done
and what I had toiled to achieve,
everything was meaningless, a chasing after
the wind; nothing was gained under the sun"
~ ECCLESIASTES 2:4-11 ~
as we can see King Solomon has all
the pleasure but still he himself is
investigating the pleasure that he has
in his entire life
somehow rethink back the question that
was being asked previously, are we able
to succeed our dreams in our life and
are we able to not to be demanding in
our life for wealth ?
as to fulfill happiness and dreams is
never an end where we should learn how
to be thankful of what we have and being
the lucky ones to continue to live
here goes the verse of conclusion :
"Not only was the Teacher wise,
but also he imparted knowledge to the people
He pondered and searched out and set in order
many proverbs.
The Teacher searched to find just the right
words, and what he wrote was upright and true.
The words of the wise are like goads, their
collected sayings like firmly embedded nails -
give by one Shepherd.
Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to
them. Of making many books there is no end, and
much study wearies the body.
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion
of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the whole duty of man
For God will bring every deed into judgement,
including every hidden thing, whether it is
good or evil. "
~ ECCLESIASTES 12:9-14 ~
somehow rethink back are we satisfied
with what we have in our life?
in my opinion, to satifisfy one's life
with wealth is never ending and we
shall learn in order how to balance
