suffering through the boredom of the
semester break
agonizing through the insomnia of all
sleepless night
i don't know what makes me to have the interest
to play back piano
it was all of a sudden "spark" on my mind to come out
with my own piano scores
of these two pop songs that it's kinda popular to find
the piano covers on youtube.com
im presenting you my
own written piano scores
"A Little Too Not Over You" by David Archuleta
&
"Love Story" by Taylor Swift
with the skills of playing through ears
after the 8th-9th try of both songs
decided to upload both of the videos
with errors here and there
Love Story by Taylor Swift (piano covered by tomoko)
A Little Too Not Over You by David Archuleta (piano covered by tomoko)
hope you guys enjoy and
feel free to give comments ^_^
i'm currently continuing to
come out with the scores of
River Flows in You by Yiruma
Erm, i'm not sure whether this is better for you, but here's 2 parts you can modify for "A Little Too Not Over You". I assume you know the keys (A,B,C,D... etc) =D
ReplyDeleteThe '+' sign shows a octave higher and the '-' sign shows a octave lower.
(1) The lyrics 'sometimes i tried to hide', you played:
[some]B flat (Bb) [times]+C [I]Bb [tried]Bb [to]Bb [hide]+C.
If you can, whenever you play Bb, play the D key, and Eb for the +C key. It'll be something like this:
[some]Bb [times]+C(Eb) [I]Bb(D) [tried]Bb(D) [to]Bb(D) [hide]+C(Eb).
(2) 2nd verse lyrics "What's wrong with my heart?"
[What's]+C [wrong]+Eb [with]+D [my]Bb [heart?]Ab
I have no idea how to explain clearer for this, sorry if it's hard to understand. Let me know though. >__< But hey, I believe you understand... try it!
Hey Jonathan, your comments were much appreciated.... hmmm you learn piano too ?
ReplyDeletethe part where the lyrics 'sometimes i tried to hide', i tried the suggestion that you gave but it sounded a little weird...
hahaha... maybe i shall find a better chords and the RH's notes to work out both hands well....
2nd verse lyrics, at first i kinda stuck there, cos the tune of the sentence 'What's wrong with my heart' it's a little kinda hard to figure out...
anyway, don't worry i'll try out with the suggestion you gave and come out with a better one... :D
thanks, i do understand what you've mentioned... ^_^
For 'sometimes i tried to hide', i don't know whether it'll sound nicer with my suggestion telling you to play 2 keys at the same time, because obviously i don't have a piano/keyboard with me now so i can't try it out. >__< But the reason I wanted you to type 2 keys together at a time is because in the song, you can hear David singing that part both low and high tones, so it's probably something like that. I don't know, maybe playing Bb(-Bb) and +C(C) solves it. =/
ReplyDeletefor that 2nd verse part, trust me, it sounds good. i'm sure of it. =D
whenever you make video clips like that, you'll be sure to see my comment, so yeah, hope to see something like that again. ^ ^
hmmmm.... yeah... seriously it's hard to figure it out when there isn't a keyboard...
ReplyDeletethe second verse i agree with you... it's nice.... hahaha.. but then my key is a Eb major... :D
hahaha... the video clip was not my idea... i very low profile one...
don't have this type of idea to do video clips....it was suggested by ika...
she was hanging out at my house previously, kinda approached me to play a song for her...
then she recorded just the song of what i played...
and then for the love story and the david's one, she decided to video clip it =.="
well, it doesn't hurt to leak out the low profile a little at some points of your life. XD
ReplyDelete2 more parts at the end of the song.
(1) [I]G [can't]Ab [seem]G [to]+C [face]Bb [the]G [truth]F
[and]-Bb [I]-Bb [real-]Bb [-ly]G [don't]F [know]F [what]G [to]Eb [do]F -> Eb -> C
(2)On the continuing chorus sang at the end of the song, you may seriously have to play 2 keys at the same time for each note...
On the first chorus, when it's ended at the last verse, the next chorus begins at the same time. In other words, "A little too not O-VER YOU." At the O, "Tell-me-why..." starts. Hence, you'll have to play the 2-notes-at-the-same-time part exactly where the 'O' from the last chorus and 'Tell' from the 2nd chorus mix.
.... [O-]Eb [-ver]D [you]Eb
....[Tell]Eb [me] F [why]G
After that, you can let go of your finger at G and press Eb to begin the next chorus.
Hope that helps again. =)
hmmmm... still being low profile more suites me...
ReplyDeletenot used to be showing off... that's not me... xD
hmmm... still working out on it....
once again, thanks for all the suggestions =)
really much appriciated !!!!
no sweat. anytime as long as it's something like this. =)
ReplyDeleteonce again, thank you very much :D
