Weekend of the Semester's 2nd Week

i have tried to "laugh" out all my stress
on last Friday through watching Cape No. 7
i really enjoyed the songs and the fun of the movie
and seriously im very happy that
i could watch this movie in the cinema


im trying to have a good break
in the just past weekends
but unfortunately
i still can't have good sleep
but i really don't know
the reason of why im being awake
i guess it's insomnia again


as usual heading to pasar malam
on every Sunday evenings
yesterday after pasar malam
went back home with my aunt
i decided to go to the basketball court
as both my cousins went to the children's playground


didn't expect that my fingernails
were long again and i've not trim them
in the end
the basketball hit my thumb nail
it cracked till the inner fingernails
again another small injury
recently im kinda fond of getting hurt
sigh...


today would be a grand new week
hope things are getting fine
hope that i could catch up again with the syllabus

The Panicked Day...

recently im not in the mood of blogging
just update the incidents that were needed

officially 2 tutorials were given today
seriously i was so stressed up
and was in insomnia because
im really scared to face bad results


Data Communication Network (DCN)
mr alex changed the quiz to a graded tutorial
4 questions of total 30 marks
it was not to bad and straight forward
the questions given was what he taught during the lecture


Data Security (DB)
ms law gave us a close book graded tutorial
8 questions of total 35 marks
4 people in a group
but in the end it ended up
everybody was searched answers
from the lecture notes


Prince, im sincerely apologizing here
i really feel bad that
i have to choose either one to be in the group
in the future days
i will lend you a helping hand if you need it


after the heartbeat panicked moments
i decided to watch "Cape No. 7"
in the cinema
i've waited for these moment long time ago
since the day it was started to show on cinema

for watching the movie together

it's really a great movie
to be introduced
i really love the plot of the movie

Random Updates...

it's really hard for me to post up
a full and finalized complete post
lots of ups and downs in this month
just roughly write through


10th - 11th January
was helping out with KDU College's
counselor, lecturers and marketing staff
in the Star Education Fair
managed to meet some of my friends there
still waiting for someone to post up the
group photo that we've captured
after the entrance was closed at 7pm on the Sunday, 11th


the most weird part was
almost at the end of the fair
a few of the facilitators of DoctorJob
who were standing behind the storeroom of KDU College's booth
kinda started to get we student helpers from KDU
who stood there to help them out
to finish up the survey form


through helping out in this education fair
is quite a interesting experience
get to meet the different kind of parents
asking about their children's further education
some of them were really stern
some were totally the opposite


recently was kinda trying to sort up my notes
DBMS, RDBMS & OOSAD
DBMS i kinda loose one sheet of it
while heading to the library
RDBMS at least i started to understand
more better in today's lesson
while what i get to learn from OOSAD
was to draw the Use Case Diagram


just leave me alone recently
just leave me alone to be in the college
to finish up all the stuff that i have to finish
it's really annoying to be at home
don't need to take the effort to check on me
it's useless as i really don't have the mood of outing
no more movies, window shopping
and also hanging around in the bookshop


short semester is really making many people going crazy
time is so limited in these short semesters
tutorials, assignments and midterm
all after one another
mid term is going to be after CNY
finals will be the second last week of March


January - quizzes and also tutorials
February - midterm and finalized assignments
March - revisions and finals


as usual will end my post
with encouraging myself
to move forward but not backwards
never give up in the decisions that i've made

Day 5 - College Updates

the weekdays of the started semester
is ending soon in 1 hour
at last i can spare the time to do revision
and solve confusing questions


but now i'm really confused of myself
whether i'm in the studying mode or lazying mode
all notes and slides that i had refreshed
did not really turned up to be the revision effort


my year 2009's most important resolution
for every semester -
" NOT KEEPING EVERYTHING TO THE LAST MINUTE "
i regretted for finishing everything at the eleventh hour
in the two previous semester


has the time run faster from the normal
or im the one lack of catching up with it
i will have to catch up in everything
not going to regret just like the previous days


now i'm not regretting
to take four subjects in this semester
everything is moving so smoothly
as DBMS, RDBMS and OOSAD
were somehow related
in some chapters


DCN's lecture is just great
Mr Alex's explanation was simple and clear
DCN is not going to be as tough
like CF in the previous semester
if i follow my new year resolution as planned

Day 4 - College Updates

the start of every semester
passes so fast
it is almost coming to a week


im trying to catch up
with the lecturers' teaching
short semester is always a busy semester
assignment due dates and final exam
is always one after another


it has been the 4th day of college
seriously, i do not really understand
what is Object Oriented System and Analysis Design
this subject all about
but all seniors were telling me that
this subject is easy
what is it so easy ?


now i have my first tutorial work today
OOSAD's tutorial 1 and also the assignment
which dues on the 18 February
hope everything runs fine with my group members
do not want any last minute work anymore
all work have to be proceed as planned


this semester is a weird semester
why can't some students just come to class
as scheduled to be started on the 5th Jan
lecturers were worried that they could not catch up
while some students were planning to switch subjects
or also dropping of the subjects


the current issue that many people asking
how is DCN? Is it easy?
in my own opinion
it does not matters whether it is easy or not
it is just the matter of
whether you are willing to put effort on the subject


i just hope that students don't complaint to much
see whether you have the eagerness
to pay more attention on the subject
sometimes you have to stand in the view of the lecturers' side
they spend the time and the effort to explain in detail
but students were the one not paying attention
can we still blame the lecturer
if we are the one who were making mistakes

2nd Day of the 3rd Semester....

i can at least wake up at 9am today
RDBMS - my only class for today
it is my first time to meet Ms Hafizah
now it really made me felt that
i have to pay full attention in this "Oracle" class
RM350 for the whole volume of books
compulsory to buy the books if want a certificate
in the end of this course


while having class
it made me felt awkward
REALLY AWKWARD
it was my first time
to be in the same class
with those who were mostly almost
finishing their diploma
one, two or few more semesters to go
they will be graduating soon


this matters which made me
considered whether i made my right choice
of registering for this subject
i knew it will be a tough route to follow
but what that really happened today
made me to reconsider everything
again and again
i prevented myself to think about it
but the topic just stayed in my mind
always there


can i just stop thinking about it ?
it really made me feel that
i made a wrong step in this semester again
the prerequisite subject for RDBMS is DB (database system)
i really need to put more effort in this subject
while i am still on my journey learning DB

Reopened Semester @ 2009 KDU January Orientation

welcome back to college
new semester has reopened
it is my 3rd semester for the current semester
as it is stated we were only allowed
to take maximum 3 subjects
in the end i registered for 4 subjects
** Database System
** Data Communication & Networking
** Object Oriented Systems Analysis & Design
** RDBMS


imagine how early that
i have to wake up for every week in this semester
i had four days of 8am class in a week
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
at first i was thinking
i can have a day break on Tuesday
but in the end i'll have no break
will be in college for 2 hours of RDBMS class


lecturer wise nothing much to talk about
Ms Law is teaching DB
it's my first time to follow her class
still eager to know her teaching style
OOSAD's lecturer is also new to me
Ms Jessie's lecture was quite interesting
although it's just a introduction of the subject
DCN as usual joining Mr Alex's lecture
i really hope to pass with good credit for this subject


will update about RDBMS tomorrow =D

Updates 291208 - 010109

It has been kinda hectic 4 days for me. My dad had this customer coming from Thailand (4 days 3 nights), he brought his wife and a 29 year old daughter with him. I have been following the whole routine.

(291208) Fetched the 3 of them from KL Sentral at about lunch time. Brought them to enjoy the delicious Bak Kut Teh at Kelana Jaya. After fillling up their stomach, they had the discussion at Asahi Suspension with Mr Wong. First night's dinner was at Desa Park City's One Noodle.

(301208) Dim Sum for breakfast. Continued the discussion at the factory's site office. At about 3:30pm, brought them to taste the white coffee and the toast at Desa Aman Puri's Old Town Cafe. After the break, straight away drove down to KLCC to enjoy their shopping. The customer bought a Rolex watch which cost about RM28,000, the daughter bought a Channel's bag. Dinner was at SS2 Green View.

(311208) Started the journey kinda early at about 8 something to Genting Highlands. Great... This time's Genting trip is not me myself going up to enjoy and relax, at least it was my first time driving up to Genting Highlands with "big" customers. The both husband and wife visited the Casino at First World Hotel and also Casino de Royale. The trip was kinda short, short as in we depart from Genting Highlands back to Kuala Lumpur at about lunch time. At last, I can have a good break after the trip back from Genting Highlands. At that time, it was about 4pm.

New Year Eve
Was planning to go out with michy and eugene. Ended up michy went Sg Wang with her friends. Received Eugene's sms at about 5 something, he really gave me a shocked when he just arrive at my house without notifying me.


Michy, how was the countdown at Sg Wang ??? You really geng ah... Until last minute until ask me wana go countdown... Whole semester break only went out once with you, your turn to become a busy woman *U*

Ahnaf, sorry for not having the time to hang out with you after you're back here in KL. Hope you'll now get bored at home in these few days...

Raymond, never knew that I can chat with you online and also enjoy the fireworks from One Utama. Hahaha..

Eugene, you really geng ah... Reached my house without notifying me... By the way, thanks for the dinner and also that one can of Carlsberg... Hahaha... In the end, you can't get the answer also :p


That's how I enjoyed my new year eve. Without crowding with the Malaysians at the countdown locations, but ended up having dinner and chatting with friends. So relax...

(010109) Enjoyed my first day of the year back to my hometown. Followed my mother and my aunt back to Segamat. They wanted me to follow along just to be the driver... Sigh... That's how I spend my new year...


Now I only have the time to really sit infont of my lappie to update this post ^_^
