Dodgeball's Passion

Dodgeball is a type of unique sports
that should be fully understood, well
disciplined and based on honoured system

I, myself, lack of being the role of a
dodgeball player is totally not a regret
It is because Malaysia Association of
Dodgeball (MAD) would be thank ful for
not only to have supportive teams of
players, but also a group of dodgeball
passionated crew members!

The passionated crews would hope that
there will be more and more people who
stands out, volunteer through the self-
passion with their inner soul to keep
the dodgeball family the full support
to move on!

10th Death Anniversary

Every year on the same day
Has come to fear and painful
Anniversary of the day you died
It's not a celebration but memories
I can't forget that makes me cry

I reach out at night but
There was nobody to hold
I touch a corner of an angle
An it feels so cold

After many years, passionate still
After unshed tears, life tucked off
No longer touched by will
Empty of all sentiments
Renews the moment's glory
Radiant beyond all sense
Tells the past love's story

Your memory is my keepsake
With which I will never part
God has you in His keeping
I have you in my heart

You'll be remembered. I miss you.
Happy 10th Anniversary!

FIDELITY

To Couples:

You're not gonna promise
to each other that you will
not disappoint one another,
because at some point you will.

What is important is you don't go away,
you don't escape, you don't leave one another
just because you were disappointed

That's the meaning of FIDELITY.

Samsung Galaxy Note II - Review & Testimonial

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE launched almost a year
the niche device has wonderful functions and
specifications for Samsung's balance sheet,
sold over 5 million units worldwide

WHAT do you expect more??? With something
bigger and better - Samsung Galaxy Note II

GALAXY Note II is now 5.9 x 3.2 x 0.4 inches,
slightly increased from 5.8 x 3.3 x 0.4 inches
the design is more rounded rectangular look
which follows the Samsung Galaxy S3's design

THE device has taken some beating with the size
which has gone up from 5.3" to 5.5" with HD Super
AMOLED display but reduced 1280 x 720 resolution
compared to the original Galaxy Note that has a
display of 1280 x 800 pixels, which gives the
Note II a lower pixel density (about 267ppi)

NOT much difference from the previous Galaxy Note
the current Note II has a home button, two hidden
soft keys beneath it as before, 1.9MP front-face
camera, volume button has shortened, power button
is still on the right, speaker, charger port below,
right alongside with the S-Pen slot

at the back view of the device, you will find a
8MP camera with flash, microSD expansion slot
and microSIM slot located at the different parts
of the device, unlike the Galaxy Note which is
side-by-side placed above the battery compartment

1.6GHz quad-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM
that promises speed performance of multi-tasking
capabilities. HSPA + 21mbps connection (LTE is not
available in Malaysia yet), GPS, Wi-Fi. Expansion
of microSD cards of sizes 16, 32 and 64GB, and run
on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box

HOWEVER, Note II's battery is one of the capturing
part as it has a larger battery, thinner than the
original at 9.4mm vs 9.65mm, but heavier by 2 grams
the enormous 3,100 mAh battery compared to the old
Galaxy Note (2,500 mAh) predicted to last the phone
with standby time of about 890 hours on 3G

What are the captivated new features for Galaxy Note II?

Easy Tasking and Multi-View
Note II is designed for users to do multiple tasks on
same screen at the same time with no screen transitions

S-Pen
redesigned, longer, bigger opens up the customized
S-Pen home screen upon the stylus is being detached
(as shown on the image below) it also consist with
function of moving between apps on the home screen

Camera - 'Best Face' Function
this new feature 'Best Face' is used during a group
shot that works together with 'burst' (previously
introduced on Samsung Galaxy S3). After the 'burst'
capture, user can select the best looking faces of
individual from the pictures. Once the best faces
were chosen, Note II will create the composite of
images with best faces that has been chosen

New Gallery Features
the photo and video gallery is well organized to
edit and delete photos. Also, after a 'burst'
shot, the photos were automatically categorized
with in a new folder (image shown below)

Point of View from a Galaxy Note's User of whether to buy the Galaxy Note II:

Look & Feel - prefer the squarish design of Galaxy Note, compared to the rounded rectangular look of Galaxy Note II. Amazed with the bright screen's colour and resolution of Samsung Super AMOLED panel.

Interface & Display - Smoothness across pages of the home view, but just a small difference from the Galaxy Note. Good preview layout of in the application with sorted categories, like "apps", "widgets" and "downloaded". Dislike the Note II's apps icon design, which looked more for small little kids compared to the Galaxy Note.

Battery Life - A 24-hour social media (Path, Twitter, Whatsapp... etc.) user like me on this 3,100mAh's Note II is pretty impressive. Somehow, the battery lasting longevity is as good as the Motorola RAZR Maxx.

Internet & Browser - Prefer the Galaxy Note's build-in browser than the Note II because it is slower, and not user friendly to navigate between the tabs.

Camera & Gallery - New features "best photo", "best face" and "buddy share" were enlightened. Current gallery sorting is more organized, and easier to maintain. The 20 'burst' shots on Note II were automatically categorized in an individual folder itself for easy deleting or selection purposes.

Speaker - Playing "Over the Horizon" with Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II have the very big difference. The Note II's speaker sounded alike some china made product.

S-Pen - *thumbs up* for the bigger, longer and thicker S-Pen on Note II, with phone vibrates notification when S-Pen is detached. Instant screen full of S-Pen-capable apps that were installed enables easy access. New functions introduced: voice recording, mathematical formulae and perform perfect cylindrical form.

I would only recommend interested of Galaxy Note II's consumer to buy, only if you will fully utilized the functions provided by the S-Pen. Samsung did a very good improvement towards the S-Pen functions and applications.

Conclusion - "It is just an Galaxy SIII, with longer look and a S-Pen..." ~Amuyo Tomoko

A Day to Remember

DISCLAIMER :
THE BLOG POST BELOW IS ENTIRELY FICTIONAL.
OPINIONS POSTED ARE STRICTLY FROM MY OWN,
AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED.

THIS post is to share the experience encountered
at University Malaysia Medical Centre(UMMC)'s
DENTISTRY DEPARTMENT by an on duty DENTIST,
named DR. L who caused the accident to happen

I was in a great mood to welcome Friday as
I was looking forward to end the heavy loads
with great work out during badminton game,
but unfortunately a text message received
that ruined the entire Friday plan...

DAD had a dental appointment at University
Malaysia Medical Centre's dentistry clinic
to proceed with his scaling process but
unfortunately I received a text message at
about lunch time, 12:30pm from dad, and a
call from mom stating that a piece of metal
scaling fell into my dad's throat during the
process of removal by the clinical's dentist

COULD not even swallow down my food when
it was a coincidence that David invited to have
lunch at a cafe nearby my office. Everything
was smooth going at first, but mom's incoming
call turned the whole lunch to be a quick one

IMMEDIATELY, I applied for emergency leave,
and drove down to University Malaysia Medical
Centre's emergency unit, dad was waiting to
head in for a second time's X-Ray for the side
view of his left lungs in order to make sure
the metal piece can be removed by endoscopy

IT was very lucky to have a Chinese houseman,
Dr. XS Teo to supervise the whole process from
heading into the X-Ray department until dad
was pushed into the endoscopy theatre. I
sincerely thank Dr. XS Teo for her fast pace
and thoughtful consideration to do everything
as soon as possible before it turned evil

AT that particular moment was to wait for that
critical answer that whether the metal piece
can be taken out through endoscopy rather
than proceeding with plan B - surgery!
Thank God that He heard the prayers, and
the process of endoscopy was successful!

SOMEHOW, the dentist who caused the
accident did pay my dad a visit after her
shift for the day after my dad was admitted
to the ward for one day's observation

*BOTH THUMBS UP* for Dr. Teo's energetic
spirit and well-organized character to
make this whole havoc smooth going

Big piece of jagged metal scaling piece
that dispersed, and fell into Dad’s lungs!

Imagine this big piece of metal stucked in my
dad's lungs that can cause breathing blockage
to end my dad's life at any second

LESSON learned from this whole HAVOC is to THINK TWICE
before you enter a GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL for the
services, even though this havoc was just an accident!
