the weather in Newcastle seems
to be turning better recently
as there is no more snowing
symptoms but it has been already
raining for the past two days



again it is time to enjoy meals
outside with my housemates and
there we headed to a Vietnamese
restaurant that i first enjoyed
with YaoLoong and SuhWoan



now it was my third visit to this
Vietnamese Restaurant - Little Saigon
that really serves perfect cuisine
with reasonable prices including
set lunch that starts from £4.50

24th & 25th.....

on the 24th early morning went for
last minute gift shopping at Hotel
Chocolat and went to pick up the
laptop in order i can use it
temporary for the moment while my
own laptop is under repair


in the evening with accompaniment
of SuhWoan to send YaoLoong off to
Paris for Christmas while on the
day itself the metro was packed as
i guess everyone is rushing back for
Christmas Eve's dinner

after dinner, exchanged Christmas
presents with all my flatmates whom
i had dinner with them always =)

remember the past few years since I was born
the whole family will make these Tang Yuan
at night before a day of the festival, and we
have reunion dinner on the festival day itself


somehow this year is so quiet and lonely
without the reunion dinner and also the
Tang Yuan cooked in ginger soup


my so first impression was the china students
who stayed in my whole flats, almost 30 over
of them, might be celebrating this meaningful
festival but it seems like i have predicted wrongly


these students from Nanjing doesn’t seems to
celebrate this festival, and it might be due
to the cold weather in Newcastle


i remember grandma once said,
once we eat these Tang Yuan,
it means we’re growing older a year
as the new year is approaching after this
meaningful festival to celebrate the in the
cold and it means that winter is now here

on Sunday, 19th December 2010
had accompanied one senior to the
airport to send him off back to
Malaysia after his graduation


one thing i realize was all flights
to London were strictly canceled
due to the bad weather and snowing
im now seriously worrying will
Newcastle snow that badly but it
seems like for the current weather
in Newcastle seems to be still fine




headed to the central station today
to apply for the rail card which is
for age range 16 to 25 year old and
it cost 26 pounds for whole year

this is my newly applied Rail Card =)




somehow one of my flatmates left
Newcastle this evening and enjoy
the holidays back at his homeland,
Nanjing, China which caused lots
of epic "dramas" that i don't want
to mention about it anymore


in the end of all circumstances decided to
take away the roast duck & chicken
with steamed white rice from
Cheeky Duck, Chinatown after my way
back from the central station


my dinner of the night =)

Surprise.....

the leftover one more report for
Academic Communication is so gonna
end my mood touching all the workloads
the feeling of holiday is approaching
but i seriously cannot feel the fun
of it even Christmas is like gonna be
a week after from now on



im wondering when will the nightmare ends?
yesterday, today or even only in future
i just hope i could overcome it as soon
as possible that will possibly allows me to
have a better second semester in January



get this surprising miss call number
that i suddenly could not remember that
it was this person that whom i never kept
in touch with for around 2 months since
i came to NCL, it was great to catch up

a relevant reply
will be given
as soon as possible
once the workload
has completed.....

Nightmare.....

it has been very hectic for
all students in the first
two weeks of December with
assignments, test and exams


it has been a nightmare for me
as i have three assignments that
due on the same week and it will
be day after a day subsequently


it is not a successful semester
for me which i had lots of ups
and downs for all my modules
also with all the negative feedback
for all modules' first assignment


im hoping and coping with my
very best to end this semester
as soon as possible within
this year and plan to finish
up the OOMAD second assignment
before year 2010 ends even though
the due date is on the 10th Jan


wishing my classmates all the best
in completing Project Management &
Professional Development, Web
Database System and Academic
Communication assignments


there goes the perseverance
and patience again, i know,
i know i can do it !!!

it has been a miracle that i managed to
find back all my previous piano covers
that i had played before i came to NCL
it was just out of sudden that i managed
to find back these files while i was
planning to clean up some of the folders
on my laptop to save my assignment work



the days has been long after i posted once

Alviss Kong (22.05.1988 - 09.12.2010)
committed suicide on 9th Dec morning
by jumping off the 14th floor of
Ketumbar Heights, Cheras after succumbing
to emotional distress brought about by the
only 4 months prior to breakup relationship



leaving a last facebook profile status
"Count Down For 45 Mins.. What should I do in this 45 mins?"
accumulated the response of his sister
and also friends but still the tragedy
couldn't be prevented

Motivation.....

this is the 2nd week of December
have been already in Newcastle for
almost two and a half months and
slowly as days passes by i felt
that life is so surprisingly filled
with "sour, sweet, bitter and spicy"



it has been a chance that i have been
longing and will hope that i could
achieve whatever i am suppose to
complete here in Newcastle but i do not
need any complicated dramas just a
simple life that fill with happiness



it is now 6:40 in the morning
i have been sleeping at awkward
timing and wake up early in the
morning trying to chill myself
from whatever feelings and
"dramas" that i had to overcome


1. to complete and handing up OOMAD
assignment is a disappointment... im
not gonna put the blame on other people,
but im learning from mistakes of what i
did and what other people did...


2. to grow a "fruit" from a "seed" towards
the PMPD assignment is so tough... i have
to learn to work harder towards a better
achievement for the report writing...



at times there is just nobody for
me to talk to and nobody suitable
to just allow me to release my
words from my heart and soul
in the end what i really crave for
is just a "delete" button that allows
me to "delete" all the bad moments
that filled with anger and sadness



i guess these were the times that
allows me to think twice before i
step into another day continue to make
another mistake or make another
decision that i will regret again



whatever i can conclude for myself
is just that im growing inside my
mentality day by day, trying to solve
problems, analyze and think for my
future before i make any decision or
even towards any planning for future



at times future seems to be clearly
pictured in my mind when conversations
were on going and decisions were made
but at times future seems to be opaque
when situation and people around might
changes your mind towards the timing
of every bits and every moments



what i can see now is just a simple
degree course is motivating
and inspiriting me to move forward
and plan properly for my future that
it does not matter whether is career
or even relationship and friendship
problem but i will just seriously urge
to get a future life for myself

turned out to make her feel
much more better and really
hope she could cheer up =)

it in another way wise i am really
glad of myself for doing every part
of the assignment but that supposed
to be separated for 3 persons work


im satisfied of myself for completing
all the UML diagram questions even though
the situation is totally very bad
im satisfied of myself that i had really
put the effort to complete the overall

woke up early in the morning
but ended up receiving a text
message from one of the student
worker of One Planet named Beverley
Thompson that says :



" Dear Student unfortunately due to
the bad weather we are going to have
to cancel the one planet Edinburgh trip.
You will receive a full refund, please go
to the student union reception with your
ticket from Monday 29/1/10 apologies for
the inconvenience regards Bev Thompson "



while spending my whole day at home
in the end went for dinner at Nando's, Eldon
Square with YaoLoong and SuhWoan while it
started snowing again and the temperature
was -4 degree celcius at that time

Victoria Hall is really a nice place
for the students to stay because
the rooms are bigger and the
whole hall of residence looks new
seriously, it's really a very
recommended place to stay
