At last I’m officially APIIT/UCTI's student!!! *Thumbs up* Basically, I was surrounded by many choices (Taylors, KDU, Informatics & APIIT College) before making a right decision. After much thought, I managed to overcome all my phobias, and I decided to enroll in APIIT/UCTI. Being a part of the Foundation Programme’s student.
I’ve been thinking why I made this decision. Maybe it’s because I’m attracted to the way that APIIT/UCTI trained their students to develop their own independent learning & working skills through the lecturer's professionalism.
I never expected that 24th March till 28th March will is my orientation week. As I heard from most of my friends, their orientation day is just only a day and not a week. Ok… everybody knows, orientation day is just briefing and talks… Not too bad… Some of the briefing was not too boring, there are also some interesting ones. There were lots of funs, when Muhammad Anis, the manager & developer of student services gave us a briefing. The unexpected one was he ordered his staff to buy a birthday cake to celebrate for the two birthday boys on 24th March 2008.
Today is a one day off for all the new comers. After participating the 2 days’ orientation programme, I realized that I’m used to the environment and I’ve made the right choice to further my studies in this college. I’m proudly to comment that APIIT & UCTI is totally different from any other colleges & universities in town. Want to know why? Let me tell you, students in APIIT or UCTI are not allowed to wear immodest attire (T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, slippers) but we are supposed to wear formal working attire in and around the campus. This implementation of this code of conduct is to prepare students well for their role as an IT and Business professional in the work place and to serve students in good stead as a well-rounded student.
I’m now eagerly to receive my student ID on this coming Thursday and my course schedule & time table on Friday. Log into my webpage again on Friday to read more about my orientation week. I’ll end my post here.

Turning Point of 360 Degrees of My Life
At last I’m back from China to update my blog. It’s almost been abandoned for about a week plus. Anyway, I’ve also started a new Chinese blog @ http://i.yahoo.com.cn/agnes250189 ... Anyway, it’s already 3 months plus. Am I really just having a relaxing break in this 3 months plus? Of course not, don’t think that I’m just every day shopping, hanging around and sleeping at home… To me, I just realised that I’ve been having a busy routine for this 3 months. Besides that, I guess I’ve already planned my personal route of my future and hope to succeed it. The thing that surprised me was on the day that I went back to collect my SPM results. I’ve never expected myself to pass all the subjects with credit and I also didn’t expect myself to score an A1 for GCE O-levels.

Random...
It’s already March. Lots of things are changing again… I’m really excited to go college now… Really can’t wait to attend my first day of college (24th March)… Looks like now I’ve recovered from the phobia of going to college… The whole feeling is totally different from now on…
The 1st week of March will be a week for me to be back to my real life… As you know, on 29th February is my last day working with Asahi Suspension Parts Corporation Sdn Bhd. So, I guess it’s time for me to have a good break (haha.. no more working pressures) while on the other hand I’ve to continue working at the IT firm…
Had a haircut yesterday… I always hear people say that, having a haircut means that you’re starting a new life all over again… But!!! Don’t put this concept on me… It’s because I’ve never had a haircut since before CNY… So, you know, what I mean?? Anyway, I never tried a new hair style this time… hahaha….
My tauke & tauke-soh was away for a business trip to Indonesia with my dad from 27th February till 1st March… So, honestly to say I can’t even get my salary on the last day of work… So sad lar… I went back to Asahi today to get my wages… I was thinking while I was on my way there, why couldn’t they just banked-in for me?? I'm just such a fool to go back again just to get my wages paid… Sigh… The most dangerous thing was, it doesn't matter how much is the wages, they still pay me with CASH!!! Anyway, while I reached the office, I suddenly realized that it was a trick… Mrs. Wong, Ms Heng and kak Wanie berpakat to call me back for the wages it’s just to belanja them a lunch with it… Great!!! End up 3 of them hopped into my MYVI, and we went for lunch at our “old place”… Mrs. Wong paid for the bill… Aunty, thanks for the lunch treat!!!
After fetching them back, I collected the bags of the China trip from the office. Met King Jin while I walked out from the lift… Never expected to see him at the punch card area as it’s lunch time… I was so surprised that he said I cut my hair till very short… In my life, nobody ever said this to me… King Jin, you’re really the first one!!! I salute you!!! Hahaha…
I’ve never expected that I’m so brave to drive by myself from Kepong till Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil… I was thinking to try out the new road to APIIT in order to convenient myself, so that I will be familiar with the roads… I don’t want to end up first day of my class, I will be like a blind searching for the road to APIIT… Anyway, I managed to remember the roads… So, can say everything is fine…

Yao Ming - Houston Rocket Center's All Star

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yao_Ming
I was so shocked when I was flipping through the Sport’s News corner from the newspaper and also from the web… I’ve never expected that Yao Ming undergone his operation on his left foot today...
There is a newspaper report which goes like this :
"BEIJING, March 2 (Reuters) - China's All-Star center Yao Ming believes he will be fit for the Beijing Olympics despite facing an operation on a fractured foot, his Chinese agent said on Sunday.
Yao is expected to need three or four months' rest after an operation which China's state broadcaster said he would undergo in Houston on Monday. That would leave around two months to prepare for the Games which open on Aug. 8.
"He (Yao) believes those two months are enough time to recover," his agent Zhang Mingji said in an interview with the Beijing News.
"I believe that by the Olympics, Yao Ming will have recovered 100 percent," Zhang added.
China's Olympic basketball medal hopes are pinned on Yao, who had averaged 22 points and 10.8 rebounds for the Houston Rockets before his NBA season was cut short.
Zhang dismissed suggestions that Yao's injury was a result of playing too many matches.
"His bone fracture is not because he was played too much, it's a problem that arose because of the structure of his foot," Zhang said, explaining that Yao had high arches.
The 27-year-old is China's most popular sportsman and is a leading candidate to fulfil the prestigious role of lighting the cauldron at the Games' opening.

Anyway, I hope that all the Yao's fans out there pray hard and give him the full support!!!
